Like them Slot Mags....oh yesh   .

Would these fit with no messing about....add says

" they are 4x110 I think they should fit 4x108 so loooads of cars"

    .

Possibly you would need to enlarge the centre bore, but as i reckon they were made for old Jap stuff they will be designed as lug centric so should fit fine.

Well what he probably mean is, he bought 4x108 but he needed 4x100.

People are a bit stupid you see. They think there are 2 wheel sizes:- 4x100 and 4x110 - I don't even think that is the reason really, I just think people are pretty stupid, and they don't have a clue what they are talking about!

What they don't understand is Ford and Vauxhall back in the "Made in England" 1960's made good old imperial wheels, with a fitment pattern of 4 1/4  inches. Nowadays everything is done metric, but metric wheels and imperial wheels can be interchanged, and thus they made the new wheels 108mm which is 4.2519 inches. I get the impression that most of the european car manufactures followed the foot steps of the English and American wheel fitments, even though they were entirely metric countries.

On the other size of the world, the Japanese were making cars, but they have been using the metric system since 1924. So they just made wheels to nice round numbers, e.g. 100mm or 110mm which don't really convert to any meaningful imperial size.

So for a quick guide:-

114mm is really an old 4 1/2
108mm is really an old 4 1/4
98mm is really an old 3 7/8

They will most likely be 4x100 / 4x108

99% of multi fit wheels are 4x100 and 4x108 , because then they fit most 4 stud cars made since 1985.
