Rear window tinting
Anyone know if there is any kind of spray I can use for tinting the rear window?
My local accessory shop didn't think so but I wondered.....
The reason for asking is that I am getting extremely fed up with tailgating main beam maniacs trying to blind me from behind every time I drive at night. Perhaps I should just get some emulsion and paint the thing out?

window tinting
hi bushwacker, not tinting, but if you pop to asda, they are selling a window rear sun shield (about £3) which in normal cars, covers 3/4 of window however it covers almost 95% of the rear hijet rear window, ive even put them on the side windows........ make a good bit of difference,, bones851

Re: Rear window tinting
There is a spray on tint I have seen it sold as window tint and you put more coats for darker shades but I have heard that the spray for tinting rear lights is the same stuff.
I'm in the process of tinting the windows in our MPV what I'm doing is using the film but putting it on to the plastic 2mm shed glasing stuff so it can be taken out if needed and it should not be affected by the heated rear window not that ours works but on the subject anyone seen the copper paint for repairing the heating elements recently I need some to sort ours out and the car.

Spray will be super patchy over a large area. Tint film is pretty easy if you take your time and use plenty of soapy water spray first.

Re: Rear window tinting
Tinting the back window with film is a bitch because of the curve on the glass.... a couple of pairs of hands and a heat gun is the ticket.

Hi bones. Liked the sunshade idea but my local Asda didn't have them at the time.
What they have now is a twin pack of sunshades for £1.50 measuring 380 x 440mm. Is that the same thing or is it a bit smaller?
