It's difficult to think of a 10 letter long title sometimes.
Camping is a laugh.

Just got in from the cold after finally getting the head back on the van. So far so good, Fired up first go. Hopefully tomorrow it'll be back on the road after nearly a month.

I remember the only way I found this forum was from a link off the daihatsu board. Problem is no one who searches google will find it.

All quiet on the western front... Empty still rolling along

Post by bones 851 Thu Nov 18, 2010 10:04 pm

still rolling along folks, mot due at the end of the month!!!!, wee jet going great guns , have swapped mountain biking for trials riding ( got an old beta 250, yep, fits straight in the back,) most of the other riders think its a great wee thing, although getting in to the meetings have caused the odd problem, spare tyre holder came loose, and the main ignition light now flickers on and off, takes a fair old rattle off road. Hope the MOT goes well,, and nah i've not got round to the re-spray yet, ha ha ha on the santa list..... bones...

Everything is fine down here in sunny (?) cornwall Smile

the hijet isnt on the road any more however...

my landy is finally on the road, so the little hijet (that will wouldnt pass an MOT without a lot of work), is just being used as a storage container...

Thinking of using some of the parts for a project tbh...

Bike...
swap pillion seat for the cowl, see about getting seat re-covered.
get donor mono shock to MCT for re-conditioning, then swap in to bike. get set up when i start riding again.
repair 2 panel lugs with plastex
fit TAX disk!...
replace clock faces with new custom faces. i make my own dial faces.
if i have time/money: get rims re-coated in plain black

think thats it... or until i find sammat else!
