Piaggio Porter and Daihatsu Hijet Rotten, Corroded or Leaking Petrol Fuel Tanks

Do you have any issues with leaking Hijet or Piaggio Porter fuel tanks?
I have raised concerns with the DVSA and now have relevant forms for customers with rotten fuel tanks to lodge their complaints, the more complaints they get the chances something may be done, please PM your email address and I will forward the forms,

Yes please D1NOH. Send me some too. I agree they are terrible for rust but I haven't had one yet that I haven't been able to weld up.

I have spoken to someone allegedly in the Daihatsu know who says that they will supplynew Tanks BUT the DEALER HAS TO FIT THEM as it is a very specialist job being the Petrol Tank and the safety issues involved. They are charging around £300 for the privelige .
For an HOURS WORK ??? Just as well weld the Tank as pay that. If my information is right.
