Re: Winter projects?
Hijet is my winter project.
I let the tax & MOT run out as I knew it needed some attention.
Cambelt, water pump, strip rear brakes, service, make a new exhaust & then get rid of all the scabs & scratches on the bodywork, before giving it a fresh coat of paint.
Then when that little lot is sorted, I can start on the bikes.

Re: Winter projects?
Although technically not a winter project but by the time I get round do doing it, it will be!! Picking up a set of alloys tomorrow (£40 bargain). I have a guy coming round on Monday to see about fabricating a bull bar and side steps so hopefully he will "quote me happy".

Re: Winter projects?
My winter project (last winter), is still a project
'78 S3 SWB Landy
Its getting a new engine soon
But once thats finished I have quite a few projects anyway
The bike (DRZ400S) is an on going project for more power, and off road use
I have a variety of old engine (including an outboard) to do up.
And I would like an old motorbike
Something pre 1960 ideally
Or an MZ ETZ250

Re: Winter projects?
I was thinking, because I dont know if my hijet will sell when the time comes about using it as a project
Its not in brilliant condition my hijet.
the paint is wearing off, there are a few rust holes.
the rad isnt perfect
and is probably worth £50
I was thinking about stripping it down, custom welding a rollcage cab on the chassis, and turn it into a pickup, for some drifting and hillclimbing
Perhaps with a turbodiesel engine mounted behind the cab
