Aye, now after 2 days, I'd say I'm pretty competent.

Harder graft than I thought driving the digger, getting shaken about while applying 110% concentration.

Looks so easy, doesn't it. How hard can it be to scrape some muck back level?  

If I started now with the couple of days experience, it would have taken me way less time and the cut would have been much better.

Well, I sort of did.... just the power cable for next doors house, and I smacked a bit of clay pipe for a surface drain with my digger bucket, but need to change it anyway.

oh well it was only next doors lol
