Ffs sods bloody law
So, on my home from devon. Van has been working really well. Been meaning to log on and check in but you know how it is! It's been non stop at home and little spare time.
I have plenty of time right now as the bloody thing just over heated

Still here! Phoning round local recovery companies ..... there's been a big accident on the m5 down the road and so far all units are dealing with that could be worse, I could've in the pile up!

Re: Ffs sods bloody law
Weather is lovely, view is crap
I managed to unpack front of van and contain the dogs to have look, the lid had popped of the reservoir tank, can't work oot why tho. Have topped water and oil up and now having a tea break and charging phone in costa. Will se if I can start it with my booster and run engine up to temp. Can't actually go anywhere till m4 reopens!

Check the rad caps before you do anything and make sure they are in good condition, give them a good wipe.
Enjoy Costa!

I'm waiting at half way point now for next aa man to pick me up.
I think this is going to be the final goodby to the weenybago!
Almost 20 years old! But a few parts I can strip off before I let the scrap man take it. What a shame it was going so well

Re: Ffs sods bloody law
Yep! Took me 30 hours to get from devon to Hertfordshire
Van is on a friends drive, will get my mechanic to look at it but the hg has well and truly blown this time so I don't hold out much hope
Such a shame as it had been working so well recently too.
This may be goodby to being a hijet owner, feels like more than the loss of a vehicle
Can I still come to the iow meet up if I'm not driving a hijet?

Re: Ffs sods bloody law
Gone from micro van to micra car it will do for now till I find something big enough for me and the dogs to sleep in but small enough that I can still get in carparks!
Weenybago will not be getting fixed. I don't the have the energy or tools to be doing the Hg again. It's still on a friends drive and I know someone who will pick it up and scrap it for me.
Hopefully I will get a chance to remove some parts first. It does have sliding door handles that work and wing mirrors that stay where they are put

Re: Ffs sods bloody law
Sorry to hear your news, hope you and the Micra car get on well.
I wouldn't mind the sliding door handles, unless your doing a bulk sale to Woodie.

I made a video about that car. If you come across problems when idling: https://youtu.be/sg3V5lCpGaQ
