I though it would be the little breather cap, but that hole is tiny!! I must be missing something obvious!

Also, whats the recommended grade of gearbox oil?

There are two big bolts on the rear face of the gearbox, e.g. facing the diff.

Bottom one is a drain bung.

Top one is a "fill line" - e.g. you fill it till it come out of the hole.
