Nice!! Haven't spend a lot of time on the forum lately, but now that I needed because of my broken propshaft, I was curious about how far you were with your ride. You got the dip already on there, and on the pics it looks great!
Is it finished now? Or do you have more plans for the little rascal?

Re: exhijet now suzuki carry project
thanx .. i didnt see youre comments for some reason untill now.
A car/van is never finished
My new plans are its either going arctic camo or i will put a rising sun on the side.
im not shure which i will go with probably the rising sun design.
camo design
rising sun design.. yeah my photoshop skils are amazing
The dipjob left some spots shining trough that i worked on.
Like i said in previous post i didnt buy enough dip, thats the reason some spots arent covered enough.
Like i said im leaning more towards the rising sun.
I will remove the one on the rear window.
The rest of the plans are
-fit fender flares. I am working on a set of classic mini ones on the moment. But its difficult, the carry has oval shape wheelarches. So i cut away the inner lip of the flares and am going to use a heatgun to try and get the good shape.
-My angel eyes headlights order got cancelled so no headlights just yet. I will order somewhere else in time and fit them.
-I will cover the doorcards in some cool design fabric.
something like this
-And i need to do some maintanance like a full service.
Thanx to woody for the parts
-And i have to finish the paintjob on the inside. I still have to do 1 sliding door and 1 normal door.
-Maybe im going to try to make a starlight ceiling to. That could be a nice job to.

Re: exhijet now suzuki carry project
those fibre optic sets are about 40 euro so verry cheap
i think i will make another ceiling from thin wood with the fibre optics in them and just screw that on my current ceiling.
I think that will be the easiest.

Re: exhijet now suzuki carry project
Looks like a brand new model of a Suzuki when photographed in front of the wall that looks like normal size bricks.
Certainly a lovely looking example of a Superb Carry (rather than Super Carry).

Re: exhijet now suzuki carry project
Thanx woodie, my brother said the same thing.
He said it looked like a scale model
I dont want to sound like a know it all but maybe you can appreciate the info.
My carry is called a carry not a super carry.
Older carrys 1986 and older are called carry, like the carry st90.
Mine is called a carry sk408 because it uses the older style 0.8 F8A engine and 4 speed gearbox like in the carry st90.
It also has drumbrakes all round but has the supercarry style body.
Its one of a few build, kind of like an inbetween model.
The supercarry has got the 1.0 F10A engine discbrakes on the front and often an optional 5 speed gearbox.
Supercarrys are 1987 and newer i think.
And to add to the confusion the newer style 1.3 are also just called carry again.
Its verry confusing sometimes.
As an example: People ask on the carry page on facebook what pcd the carry has.
You will get all sorts of answers, pcd 4x114.3 for mine the supercarry and the older ones.
But the newer ones the 1.3 have pcd 4x100 so people will get in discusions telling eachother that they are wrong.. no youre wrong no youre wrong
As you can see by this post and my rant yesterday about politics i have to much free time man

Re: exhijet now suzuki carry project
hey scotia,
The carry continues to look better and better! Nice job man.
I think it's time to meet up soon. I still have my pickup in storage. I'm waiting for the rain to flush all the salt from the roads.
It would also be nice to arrange a small micro van meeting

Re: exhijet now suzuki carry project
@logi no not realy we had a conversation that turned out positive but a litle personal
thats why i deleted it later on. No Problem at all , woodie is still my friend
@Pvdb Thanx man, yes that would be cool.
I know a guy with a subaru to who lives close to us (geesteren).
Maybe he wants to join to.. we can do a litle fotoshoot.
If you know any more guys it would be nice.
The carry dip job isnt finished like i said before.
I still have to put some xtra layers white on it to get better covarage.
If you look closely to the side shot and look at the lower part of the sliding door you can see what i mean.
I took about 50 pictures and picked out the nicest offcourse

Re: exhijet now suzuki carry project
haha such a small van, and still double parking
I don't know that may guys near by. Lex lives in the south and don't know if he will drive all the way up here.
But you also have a micro van facebook site don't you?
Perhaps we can see how many people are interested in such kind a event. If there are more then lets say 15, then it would already be worth the effort planning something. And if there are way more then we make it bigger

Re: exhijet now suzuki carry project
i made some things from left over stuff i had lying around.
as pvdb knows i realy dont handle unforseen things well
so i always am prepared for a lot of different emergencys, i keep a kit in the back of my van.
i made a litle box for it so doesnt slide around anymore.
and i made sort of v shape thing to in the back
i will fit some speakers in it in the near future
i made it all from leftover stuff
thats the reason some parts arent fully covered and partially sprayed black.
its fully removable but firmly made wedged between the back so it doesnt come flying when i brake hard.
