Electric windows Empty Electric windows

Post by HighlyJetted Tue Oct 29, 2013 6:57 pm

Did you know that the S8x hijets like ours had optional extra electric windows in Japan?

Leading onto.....

If I could ship over a load of brand new complete electric window mechanisms

Would anybody be interested in them?

I know I'd love one for the passenger side as it's a pain reaching over to open that window in the summer.

I believe that they were optional on the porter as well.

Lazy git!

I'd be more interested in a retro-fittable central locking system - it's such an arse having to unlock a front door before sliding - or having to walk to the back to lock the tailgate Very Happy

There is it was a dealer fit going by the shitty wiring layout and dealer tags around the relay on ours doesn't include the boot though but I have fitted a remote with boot release to rectify that.

Price dependent I'd be interested too

Following somebody trying to force the lock cylinder I can only open the drivers side now!
