Stalling when cold

The best way to describe this fault is that the choke is coming off too early before the engine is warm and it conks out at junctions. I know it doesent have a choke as it fuel injection, buts its a good description.
I have read the thread about running too rich and will check the sensors.
Has anyone else had this happen?
