Need Mechanic.. Help!

Hi everyone Im looking for a good mechanic be great if it was some one with a special interest & knowledge of Hijets. I'd love to start getting some of my vans problems sorted out.Im looking to get my near side sliding door functioning again & my demister & wiper sorted out on the tail gate plus a few other things. Im based in east london Stratford. Any ideas?

Putting a Hijet into a garage can be a costly excercise, can you not do some bits yourself?

Thanks Logi.. yes I've factored that In & realise its not going to be cheap. I will try to do what I can, Im no mechanic but Im quiet practicall so I'll have a go with the really simple stuff.My main concern is if I try to do anything beyond me and end up with no transport !! or the van is not secure. In this part of London you can't leave the door off for a couple of nights & not expect some one to have moved in! Was just wondering if anyone on here local-ish to me has used anyone or knew of anyone that isn't to expensive. Im willing to travel so even if it was a bit of a distance it would proberly be worth it. Bit of a long shot I know but I thought its worth a go.

Hey Logi I've had a reply from someone on here who is fairly local to me who would be happy to do some work on my van. think Im going to take him up on the offer. Ill concentrate on the basic stuff Im confident with. Thanks for your reply.. Im sure Ill be back on here when the 'basic stuff' turns out to not be so basic!!
