Touch up paint
Does anyone know where i can get some touch up paint from..? metallic blue 97...

But where can i get some from.... Halfords..no, tried a seller on Ebay..he hasnt replied..can they vary in colour through 97 onwards..surely metallic blue is... metallic blue. :?

Car paint supplier? My local one makes it up the there on the spot.

Don't bother with places like halfords.
Search for your nearest automotive paints specialist, use the yellow pages or something.
We have a place call macc auto paints in the next town to me.
They will mix you anything while you wait in small quantities.
And they have hundreds of books with hundreds of colour samples.
But no, metalic blue is not metalic blue. There are about 8 different colour codes for it.
So if you go to the paints place in your van, they will get some books out with the paint samples on, then you can pick one thats nearest your van.
Non will actually be the right colour, because your van has faded quite alot in 19 years.

And. Yes, blue is blue, but as HJ says, there's maybe not fifty shades like grey but there's a lot.

Agree with Logi, see if you have one nearby. Last time I used one they let me try out the matching cards to definately get the right shade in case my paint had faded. Downside is you sometimes have to get a largish tin if you want touchup but they can usually do spray tins OK.
