All running fine 1.3 hijet.....

Just bought a 1999 1.3 from a friend who has had it from new with 40 k miles ,mostly used for local run arounds
It's still on the original cambelt so that's being done 1st
It doesn't overheat the coolant looks okay and the level is fine

After reading the threads the overheating problems seem common
I will be checking the caps and hose clips for cracks and the radiator bottom

Should I replaced the clips caps and thermostat ,or leave well alone if they look OK?

If its been looked after, leave alone unless there is an issue or it looks as though there will be one. Drive and enjoy.
