So what's wrong with my rear door?
Rear door shuts fine, just a bit of a slam. But after drivng a short distance I hear a click and the damn thing rattles from them on. Anyone know what the fix is for this?

The catch plate needs adjusting. Loosen the bolts and push it further into the van.

It's usually the spring loaded catch that grips the latch plate that gets rusty and seizes up. It is spring loaded.
Undo the two 10mm set bolts and take the catch off and disconnect the thin operating rod and take the catch assembly off and give it a dose of WD40 and work the catch and the latch arm which is also spring loaded and work it back and forth and loosen both up.
If the two position catch isn't springing back into the open position assuming that the WD40 has loosened it up then the spring is broken and the whole catch assembly will need to be replaced.

Yeah, take it off, and work it loads with wd40, wash the bugger out with it.
Keep opening and closing the lock with loads of wd40.
Life will be better!
I lost 2 tool boxes once going over a speed hump to a dodgy hijet boot catch. All my stuff all over the road.

Ouch!!! That was an expensive lack of WD40.
I have done exactly the same though, but luckily my tool box was locked and just suffered a few scratches and dents.

If I'm rattling your back doors you'll not need WD40......

As long as it works and not too many fluid eruptions it should last you a good time.........It was a heater issue wasn’t it?
