Hi, my back door (on the van for you lot with a dirty mind) rattles like mad. Would it just be the case of adjusting the catch?

It would, though the screws on the hasp on the body can be hard to shift. Stuffing an old towel between the tailgate and the frame can help too.

Should be but might be worth slamming it hard as ours wil rattle like mad if we just shut it but give it a good shove and it shuts nice and tight.

Even if I slam it, it still rattle's. When it is closed there is a little play in the door. Mite try the towel trick first.

Hi Rich, door seals are in good condition. The body could do with some work on it but there is no rust problems and mechanically very good.

Then it is time to try and adjust tbe catch then although I did try to adjust one of the front doors only to find the catches are not adjustable.

I have had a quick look and I think the bit on the body can be moved.

My old mpv used to do this, so I would smack the loop on the body with a lump hammer then it would shut up for a couple of months.

That's interesting. I accidentally backed into a pillar which stopped the rear door rattling for a while but it has since started again.

(The Hijet was otherwise unscathed but the pillar got marked).
