Help!!! Wiring ID and a chopped off hose
Hello chaps,
Help needed! The po has bodged the fan to be always on, using methods a teenage boy racer from the 90's would be proud off.
He's also chopped off a hose and shoved a bolt in to stop the end of it.
Can anyone help please guys, oh and I've set fire to dash, I need to rip it out and see if there are any more bodges behind the panels, grrrr!!!

The fan relay is supposed to live around there, they have a tendency to bugger up. The hose is your bleed valve.

I take it that it should not have a bolt in the end then, more of a valve. The multi plug that is there has 4 connections, I take it it should plug into something?

No valve as such, it's usually just a little rubber cap. Chances are it got lost as some point and replaced with that length of hose.
Is yours a dual fuel model or has it ever been?

I don't think so, there is no filler cap or tank fbsts.
I'm happy to bypass this entirely with a kenlow and a thermostat, but I'd like to get this identified first

It should look something like this:
You can pick them up on ebay for much cheapness. If you do replace that length of hose, don't chuck it out as it is halfway to being a pressure tester - all you need is a schrader valve (car tyre) and a compressor.

Re: Help!!! Wiring ID and a chopped off hose
I just use a bit of pipe with a bolt in it like what you've got.
Except I cut the head off and make it look respectable.

Also all I'm going to say from previous experience with alot of hijets -
Dodgy fan wiring.
Altered Bleed bung.
99.9% needs a head job and other stuff.
