yellow engine light Empty yellow engine light

The engine light keeps coming on randomly, it stays on for a few minutes
then goes off again. I know I need new brake pads, could this be the problem?

No, it will be something to do with the engine management system. You need to read the error codes which will have been stored. What year is your van?

there is a guide here on the site how to read the fault codes.
i tried it and it was supprisingly easy  Smile  5 min job
