Same day, different daihatsu

When it pulled away from the traffic lights and you looked in the rear view mirror, a low flying cumulo-nimbus starts to follow.

It is quite rare to see them flying so low, I know and from the looks of it they are always quite dirty, a bluey black colour.

So as it turns out the cloud is actually robbing the engine of oil, can you believe it? Its only when I am sitting at the lights, it must think I am vulnerable so it proceeds to suck all the oil out between my piston rings and stem seals and proceeds to distribute it evenly to the surrounding atmosphere.

So we took my mate Daihatsu to bits to find:-

i bet its harder to find parts for one of those than it is to find parts for a hijet?

You have no idea!

There are 2 of this model TR-XX in this country.

And not one engine parts supplier can supply me with piston rings!

There are places that make them to suit
