heater box
hi peeps,
I have noticed on doris that there is no heat at the feet (no cold air either just no air movment), after a quick check all cables seem to be attached and doing there respective jobs so i am thinking it is flap stuck or broken, i know am gonna have to take the heater box out to strip it and inspect but dont have time to waste messing about, im really after a bit of experience on rough time for removal and install, any quick ways of getting at bits any thoughts at all really
cheers in advance
Danny

Re: heater box
Short answer is the dash has to come out so a good couple of hours I would think depending on how much has to be disconected and how much could be pulled out.
Re: heater box
I think I have a similar issue. My heating works fine when blowing through onto the windscreen, but as soon as I put it onto the vents, it just blows out cold air?
Any ideas?

That would be why it does that then I suppose, so the only heat comes up to the windscreen I presume then, no other setting?
Re: heater box
No, heat should go down to feet as well.

Re: heater box
To get the whole heater box out, you need to take the radiator out as well to get to the water pipes behind the radiator
Re: heater box
Not to mention the front bumper as well and rad support brackets etc too I think.

Don't forget long com's on as well.
Can't do without them through the winter once I have started wearing them. Keep me lovely and warm up on roofs and in my fridge of a workshop.
