Ant tips on buying a celica?
Looking for a 1999 to 2005 celica 190, seen a couple in my price range.
Does anyone know whats good and bad, what too look for, where they fail?

Pretty sure they suffer similar probs as MR2's, oval bores, oil burning etc. Though for some reason not as many affected?

@Logi - seen a few with failed engines, something to do with oil starvation or something.
@PFM - Nah just want something new to drive around in for a bit.
Miss having a car with a light speed setting for late at night commuting.
Hijet feels fast, but it's far from it, and it lacks in comfort.
Celica is a hatchback so I can chuck stuff in it when needed, I never carry more than one passenger, and they are pretty good on fuel for a 190 horse power rocket ship.
Amazing how many you see for sale with over 200k miles on the clock, that tends to say something about them.
Just fancy something so I don't have to drive the hijet everywhere.
