Celica related question for HJ

I've put this as a topic as it may be of interest to other hijet pickup owners.

I'm after some nice comfy seats which will fit in the tight confines of the pickup cab and after the link Logi supplied the other day to a guy who had fitted the paseo seats i have been on the search.

As it turns out Paseo seats are hard to come by so i have been looking for an alternative. I've been looking at the 2 seater sports cars such as the MR2 etc as well as the 4 seater coupes like the Celica etc as they tend to be the cars which have seats with a thinner back.

Basically i was wondering if HJ would mind looking at the seats in his Celica to see if it looks like they would fit if done in the same way as the Paseo ones without cramping the cab up

He hasn't fitted paseo seats if you read it carefully.

He has taken the sponge and fabric off the paseo seats, and rebuilt the hijet frames with some modification to fit the paseo seats.

Yeah that's what I'm on about doing with the Celica seats?

just weld 4 bolts to the underside of the seats that realign with the 4 holes from the old seats.

Can't do that with a pickup tho...

Nice looking seat, i bet they are comfy too!

They are actually the exact same seats that are fitted to my Celica vvtli 190, same colour and fabric.
