Fuel tank capacity and fuel consumption

As I'm sad, I record every vehicle fuel fill on a spreadsheet. My '08 Porter's current running average over the past 4.5 years is 38.7mpg with occasional highs of 45. My '02 Hijet, which an employee drives most of the time, is currently at 32.33 over 6 years. Purely my driving style or maybe the '02 needs attention?
