Skylark goes to the IOW (again!)
Well, another trip to the IOW to see Woodie. Great drive down, nearly 300 hot miles. Got my fist Chop in at a set of traffic lights when I had gone into the wrong lane, the car was officially ‘Chopped!’ (Watch MCM on YouTube to get the relevance of that).
It’s officially hot down here, should meet up with Sir Woodie of Hijet fame tomorrow. Starting to fed up now, this is the third time I have added photos only for them to disappear!

Ferry good. Maybe this pic problem is a regional thing?

For all those that have benefited from the help of Woodie, be it advice, parts supply or been on the end of his sharp humour you must be thinking what does this man look like? Well here is your answer:
(Notice the shop name!)
Been further out to Freshwater Bay today, was heading to the Needles etc but for the third year we havnt made it! Two previous years it was because of mechanical issues and this year we got as far as Freshwater Bay and my wife lost her balance on the shingle beach so we spent 3hrs in A&E! Fortunately nothing broken just a bad sprain. Oh well, looks like we will have to return next year

Hhmmm!! Bodywork definitely rotting quicker than a rusty Hi-Jet with TinWorm. Mind you a Hi-Jet wouldn't make it to nearly 70. Frightening thought that I am only 18 months away from that Landmark age.
