DFSK loadhopper
Don't know what there like, but i've finaly spotted one in the flesh.
Passed one my way home from rippon.
From a quick look at reviews. they was released in 2011.
And they are just more or less the latest micovan.
Power stearing is not stanadard, neither is an airbag.
And they are dead basic inside. (And thats about all i've picked up. so i'll leave it at that)
If anything, this post could be helpful to anyway wanting to know of some more micro vans around in the UK
Just an image so we all know what i'm on about here
The two reviews (I know two is not a lot, but hey)

Re: DFSK loadhopper
I did look into them, they win microvan of the year every year, but then again they are the only ones in their class, the pickups are too wide and long against the jet and no local dealer support around the midlands,

Re: DFSK loadhopper
Suppose they are a bit of an upgrade on the bull nosed suzuki carrys,
(well appart from no power steering)
But from what i've seen on photos. they have a lot more room, as the carrys has the floor level with the top of the wheel archs.

Re: DFSK loadhopper
That because the chinese don't actually design anything, they just rip off someone elses idea.
Anyone can become a DFSK dealer, all you have to do is go on alibaba, order a couple of containers full of vans at about £2300 per van on a quantity of 4, then get them shipped over here for about £1500 per container load.
Daihatsu have always been a pretty rubbish dealer network, and I can't imagine DFSK being much better.
DFSK UK is actually a company called:-
VESTATEC AUTOMOTIVE DISTRIBUTION LIMITED
STERLING HOUSE
177-181 FARNHAM ROAD
SLOUGH
BERKSHIRE
SL1 4XP
Which looks like great base for a vehicle brand if you google street view it!
I also wonder why 2 of the directors have resigned over the last couple of years?

What will happen to DFSK parts support in a couple of years?
According to the DVLA road tax database, they have sold 112 vans so far. https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=dfsk

Re: DFSK loadhopper
Well it's reassuring to know that someone is dealing with these rustbuckets. Which Scrap Crushing Plant are you sending them to?? One in China hopefully.
