Good points.
Fold down 2 person bed.
2 Ring Cooker (plus 2 gas bottles. 1 near full, one spare)
Sink (cold water only)
Electric hook up. (never tested)
Enough storage for 2 people (and more with a push)
Pop Up Roof.
Full Curtains.


Bad points
Severe rust on both wheel arches.
Rust on side door (cosmetic)
Driver side window does not wind (mechanism broke)
Huge dent in driverside sliding door (caused by vandalism)
Little dint on front (caused by vandalism)
could do with new spark plugs
could do with new air filter
Slight crack in fiberglass roof (does not leak tho)

Notes*
Exhaust 1 year old
tyres 2 year old (but limited milage so in great condition)
M.O.T. (runs out end of feb 2014)
No TAX. (tax is for a disabled person, so carrying over to next vehicle)

but can't help but think its overpriced at £650 as the front arch has literally rotten away to nothing - actually its the worst state of rot I've ever seen on a Hijet. And it doesn't have an MOT on it (unsurprisingly). The rear arches will need totally re-fabricating, the part where the door runner bolt to the rear quarter are totally rotten. The sliding doors look rotten. So the fuel tank will be on its last legs, along with all the brake lines, probably the head lights reflectors ...... if the coolant system is good with no rotten pipes I would be gob smacked.

I could see this getting a serious multipage mot failure sheet!

By the time it has cost alot of money to repair this, then sorted out all the other bits on it, painted it etc, it just isn't worth it.

The only possible thing going for it - someone might buy it for the roof, but as you say that is cracked too.

I know it was a lovely van once, and its been fun in the past.

And I do apologise for only being negative.

Maybe put it on ebay for £99 starting auction, and let some deluded dreamer pay more than its worth for it. Some idiot will buy it as a camper project which will never actually happen.

I get the feeling you weren't too impressed with it HJ.  

Talking of Devon campers, what's happened to our Eddie up in Blackpool??
Been a bit out of touch lately myself but haven't seen a post from him on here. Anyone heard from him??

Just looked and his last post was 13th January. Better email him and see if he is still breathing I guess.

Yeah I spoke to him on the phone last weekend when I called the wrong eddie!!

He is OK and selling up his Hijet camper I think.
