A WORKING Hijet Rear Wiper

I reckon his mrs is ducked down in the boot, moving it manually   

I have a working one on my van......................woohoo but the funny thing is I was going to remove it as I never use it and will tint the rear window.

. If you are worried about the wiper damaging the tinting LDV is yours an an Irish built Hi-Jet with the Wiper Arm on the INSIDE ??

Was going to tint my rear window, but they wanted £50  .

Bought a roll of film from Halfords for £1.00   (was when their tills went wonkey over Christmas), but I messed that up , bubbles'n'creases everywhere  .

So I ended-up using that black garden weed membrane, just doubled it up and pinned it to the surrounding rubber seal. Looks fine...stops people nosing in....and best of all...cheap as chips   .


And yes.....I AM tight with my money         .

You cheeky buggers, A friend has a Hijet with a non working rear wiper and he is having it. Tinting the rear window means I wont be looking out of it much so won't need a clean window. Also weight saving by removing it

You didn't think when joining this Anarchial Forum LDV that you would get away with not getting some stick eh ?? Its good to see you can take it and dish it out too. Good on you.
With regard to your weight saving method of removing the rear wiper motor
to save a couple of ounces -- have you considered dieting as a way of putting less strain on your already overworked Lombardini Engine.?

Would be so much more fun if it was Lamborghini Engine wouldn't it?

Not found a single failed rear wiper motor.

It's always the wiring in the rubber bit near the door hinge.

Ours was knackard as well as the wiring.
