hitting my head on a brick wall!!
well it seems im destined to never get this seat/bed made in the van, ive got the framework built in the back and was making headway cutting up the ply to box it in.... and my jigsaw just gave up... no warning.. no exciting smoke or anything... just bloody stopped...

Decent Makita jigsaw tends to last you a lifetime, and they cut nice, and they are quiet.

Re: hitting my head on a brick wall!!
I got mine second hand for about £50 ten years ago.
It was a pretty rough example when I got it, and then I've used it weekly ever since.
You can get parts for them too which is handy.
My dad has one that as old as me and it's still going strong.
They are "the" jigsaw, used by kitchen fitters and joiners etc.

My mate has a Wicks own brand jig saw, nice bit of kit.

i will post pics, took one with just the frame work, will take another when the boxing is done, cant post them unless i switch the laptop on and that just seems like like too much hard work!! got picks of the fitting of a solar vent too, not exactly complicated but hey we all like pictures of new bits on the vans!
