Another Hijet owner

So glad to find this site! and yes, the first thing I did was to go for the 1.3 manual (downloading now). I bought my V reg 1.3 EFI panel van several years ago and used it to move house for my son (twice), move us once (several trips!) and then as a builders van while I totally renovated a property. I made the mistake of changing the oil using a supermarket brand (can't remember which one) only to find the engine die on the M4 I think through loss of compression!
As this would be too costly put into a dealership I thought I would investigate myself but have been hindered by the apalling weather and also lack of information. Now the weather has improved and I have found a source of information I will see if I can find the extent of the damage and, maybe, fix her up again.
I will post again when I have checked out the manual. Meantime, thanks for being here!
