hi tank is leakeing from round the joint and the rust worm has got hold affraid

depending on how much a tank is you could try this and some jenolite for the outside.

I have the same problem, for quite a few months now I've been just half filling it until a good cheap tank turns up Very Happy

I've used oil/fuel resistant epoxy resin on fuel tanks before.

If you clean the area, then apply the epoxy, then stick tinfoil to the wet epoxy, then coat again and stick more tinfoil etc etc you can make a really strong resistant patch that is easy to mould to any shape or lip.

I bought the epoxy in Halfords if memory stands me correctly, it was black, it was on a mates car to keep him running but it lasted for years.
