tank for 1300

hi guys need some help to locate a fuel tank for my y reg 1300 mpv thanks

Can't help on the tank but silly question why do you need one?

hi tank is leakeing from round the joint and the rust worm has got hold

depending on how much a tank is you could try this and some jenolite for the outside.

thanks will look into it and see have not look at the price of a new tank but will over the next few days

I have the same problem, for quite a few months now I've been just half filling it until a good cheap tank turns up

I've used oil/fuel resistant epoxy resin on fuel tanks before.

If you clean the area, then apply the epoxy, then stick tinfoil to the wet epoxy, then coat again and stick more tinfoil etc etc you can make a really strong resistant patch that is easy to mould to any shape or lip.

I bought the epoxy in Halfords if memory stands me correctly, it was black, it was on a mates car to keep him running but it lasted for years.
