Hey whats in yer van today?

Haha I decided to extend Jet not vertically but rather horizontally (length). Today I used a ridiculously long ladder as you can see, but soon there will be a moped hanging from the back...

By the way, I want to paint the van and the moped in the same color. I leaned towards white but now I feel that might be a bit boring. What would you think about camel - like the desert Land Rovers, with black details (wheels/bumpers/etc) and same for the moped. Would look rather cool, right?

Pearlescent or glitter.

plastidip it yourself
letting it get dipped
rolling it yourself
respray at a shop
respray done by you

Yeah I'm still undecided, prime gray's also a good option. Basically anything that doesn't stand out too much is OK with me. Oh well I'll just let it depend on my mood the day I buy the paint

Its a five year old 'he' Sox but could do with a bit longer safety belt really, still got to find a longer one.

150 yards away from my Workshop is Travis Perkins, the Builders Merchants. I have always got on well with all the Staff . They have looked after me and I have looked after them. Two of them, their Dad's used to bring their cars to me and one of the Dads, Ron I worked with for 9 years when I drove one of the two Ventnor Dustcarts 1980 to 1989 when I left and set up Stuart's Ford Spares.

Since the Fire they have been looking after me particularly well with wood for my Woodburner. I picked this load up yesterday and there is still more to pick up today. Most of it is usable good wood but the planed stuff is perhaps not totally parallel or splits or bad knots. I give them a good drink for their Coffee and Tea fund as Travis Perkins are too tight to do so. I gave them £20 for this lot.

Looking a bit better out the van(but not much.... )
