My Hijet is overheating Empty My Hijet is overheating

I have a 2001 Diahatsu Hijet 1.3 that is overheating. I have no idea about mechanics and don’t know where to start.

I have asked various mechanics and garages but nobody wants to seem to work on her.

The fan wasn’t working and somebody put that on a switch for me. It drove ok locally for a while but then I made the mistake of taking her on a long journey with a little bit of motorway. It overheated and as I came to a stop at work it was leaking water underneath and smoking.

Can anyone please please help? Where do I take it? I have no idea about cars only that I really love my Hijet
