Any tips on servicing??
Hi Guys
My Hijet is in need of a service (hasnt been done for at least a year afaik)
Has anyone got any tips or techniques they could share on changing the Sparkplugs
and oil filter?
Both look a complete nightmare to get to
Also what weight oil would you reccomend? (i`m assuming 10/40)
Cheers

Re: Any tips on servicing??
oil filter is easy once you have the rear cowling off as for the plugs the rear is ok then they get harder towards the front I use a beaker bar and a uj extention.
Re: Any tips on servicing??
i have small hands & am used to working in small spaces on my bike. so plugs not an issue for me.

BTW i saw ASDA doing a deal £10 a 4ltr can on 10/40W engine oil saturday.. Castrol i think it was too!
