poxy bloomin' head gaskets

Just had to remove the cylinder head again after I only fitted it on Thursday evening (I can get it off in about half an hour) when fitted and poured water in, it poured out the back and there is a half inch ish section thats failed on the top side of the gasket. Clare has just emailed the supplier and we are waiting for a response.

they are sending out a replacement good old ebay.

must admit, now i have done the head on mine, can easily do it again when it comes to it. at least i know it doenst cost too much as well.

mind you, how many times can you skim a head?

that depends on how bad it is and if you want to get into valve to piston clearence measuring but generally there will be max amount before you start to bother the water jacket I've just finished putting the head on again and it was using a cb22 charade head gasket.
