Lambda Sensors
Hello all, first post so be kind.
Recently got myself a clapped out 03 plate pickup.
It seems that the dealership has cheated the vehicle through it's most recent MOT by removing EML bulb to disguise a failed lambda sensor (2nd bank)
On closer inspection, the lambda sensor is just any old one they had lying around and didn't even have the right connector.
So it looks like I need a new one and my question is this, are the 1st and 2nd sensors interchangeable.
Would something like this be suitable?

Re: Lambda Sensors
My understanding is yes.
A single wire Lambda universal replacement is avaialble.
The three wire ones just have some sort of heater inside them. You can still use a three wire one if you know which wire to connect.
