Daihatsu Hijet 16v Efi. Urgent PLS help

Hi all.
My van won't start. It's turning over but not firing. Oh it's a 4 wheeled drive too.
There is no hum when I turn the ignition to on.
I am presuming this is the fuel pump.
So........
1) where is the relay to the fuel pump (APPARANTLY it might be this?)
2) where is the fuel pump. Is it in the petrol tank??
3) could it be anything else??

But I want to sell this van as it has a Romahom on it.
Was up for sale but today when I had someone coming....Sod's law, it won't start!!

Good Evening, i am currently having the same issues with my van. Not a 4 wheeled drive.
I have checked the fuel pump and that is fine. But there is no power getting to it. Did you work out what the problem was?

Yes it was the Ignitor. They cost bloody loads new (£400+) so look on Ebay for someone scrapping a van as I found one for £100

Check the twin fuse block next to the ECU Ive just had the same problem and it was one of these that was at fault.  Check my Fuel Pump Fuse post from the other day

Yes i seen that this afternoon, i am praying that it is just that. As a got the van for under £400.

Why didn't you ask me?? I have Igniters in stock. It would have saved you £25.

My question is before I look at it tomorrow where is the fuel filter fuse in a 1997 hijet. If it is not near the computer?

Why or how even would a Fuel Filter have a fuse? I guess you mean Fuel Pump. Bear in mind that the 993cc Van wiring is different to the 1300 models.

Sorry, I should have read that back fuel pump fuse. It is a 1997 993cc MPV
