Does the gearstick knob screw off? Mine's stuck fast...need to take it off to put the gator and handbrake surround on Sad

My 1998 Pickup certainly screws on and off.

Is yours a standard, original, knob or a replacement? Originals are screwed.

Indeed, my original bulbous knob was exceedingly stiff, but a good firm grip and a powerful wrist action soon finished the job off. Ooh matron etc...

Replaced the original with super tasteful chrome skull with led eyes. Sheer class. It attaches with small Allen grub screws, BTW.

Good to have support to turn to when a man has trouble with his knob...

All sorted with a little lube and a firm grip thanks Smile
