need advice please.

Hi Can anybody help me please. thought i had worked out how to put back the fuel injecters back in my 1996 diesel engine, but forgot about the 4 tapped that go between the rocker arms and finding it inpossable to get them in. starting to think i should give up on it.

i know that i won't get it to run i just won't the experiance of putting it back together. and working on a diesel engine.
