Engine cutting out, code 52.
Happened 3 times by now, that the engine "stopped", on the highway at around 100 km/h.
It still runs but won't rev up anymore.
Clutch in, engine off, starting again, and then everything is fine again, and I can keep driving.
But thing is, how often is this gonna happen now? Will it become more and more until it won't drive at all anymore?
I am very willing to fix it, but I'm far from home now, and don't want to do some bigger fixes here.
Code 52 popped up by the way.
Is there a temporary way to fix it? Or does it really need replacing of the speedocable?
Speedometer does it's work correctly though..

Okay, though the clocks are working fine. It's a bit off compaired to the gps, but always was.
And now, how further? Does it make the van run in a limp-mode already?

The speed needle will keep working ok.
Inside there is a magnetic reed switch, as the cable turns it moves a magnet past the switch, which sends a pulse to the ECU so it knows vehicle speed.
These switches break, but are part of the whole speedo, easiest to change the whole clock unit.
