mpv / bus 1.3 verse 1.0 panel van !

I have a 1.0 panel van at the moment but looking at a 1.3 mpv

Few questions I have is

Whats the most economical ?

Whats he fastest !! ?

Whats the difference in insurance / tax ?

The mpv I am looking at was taxed at £140 for 6 month !! I am guessing insurance would be higher. I am hoping to take the seats out but add them if needed ! I am paying about £300 a yea insurance at the moment and £120 tax ! and a full tank gets me about 200 miles

No different in fuel economy between the 993 and the 1.3

Same tax band too, as long as its pre 2001.

Same to insure pretty much too.

1.3 is wayyyyy better on power and speed. World of difference between the two.

1.3 is easier to get parts for too.

I also own a 1.0, I could not believe how much quieter the 1.3 is and I should imagine its a lot faster, cruising down motorway

The top speed of my 1.3 is a limited 86 Mph.

Quite comical actually.

Why is it limited? Never seen one like that.

I don't know. Unless it's the rev limiter @ 4500 Rpm  

I would say there is something not quite right with that, as its pretty much impossible to hit the rev limiter in 5th in a 1.3, as they don't have the power to pull all the way to the rev limiter in 5th, which at a guess would be around 110mph.
