hijet speedo cable gold dust £73 QUID FROM DAIHATSU

Hi my speedo cable broke on the hijet a week ago. Ive been searching for one non stop now ive emailed about 20 part brokers online but no reply and rang up about 10 different part cenres and as soon as you say daihatsu they say no straight away even japan part centres. Ive been around some scrap yards and had no luck they said they had a bedford rascal and subaru van. Ive emailed a few people on ebay whos breaking them they either say sold or no. Then i rang up daihatsu and they wanted £73 QUID FOR A SPEEDO CABLE. Could buy a sat nav with that and have the speed on that.

My hijet is 1.3 2003. Any ideas where i could find one?

Hi I don't have a number but speedy cables are who you need if you have all the old bits they can make a new one and if the outer is good then they should be able to supply just the inner. just had a google and there is a place in swansea and london.

Try Tony (agpeck). He's more than likely got one and you can't find a more helpful bloke.
