you said yours is a 25ltr? if so the max you would have ever got in it would be 18ish ltr, you can only fill a LPG tank to 80%

hmm, maybe its not 25lt ill go and measure up! ill give the garage a ring tommorow and find out if they will put on a second hand tank and how much theyll charge go from there! i can give them the details of the tank youve got

just had a quick measure up in the dark but pretty sure mines closer to 50cm x 20cm, and yet when i fill from empty it fits almost 25lt i dont think there would be space for a tank 60cm and its already quite low even tho there is no space at the top so 30cm diameter might be low enough to hit the curb!
ill see what information i can glean from the garage, hopefully they have dealt with hijets and can help over the phone

I think after 2001 they had a slightly different prins setup on them but I've not messed with enough to be 100% factual.

well, just gave herts autotec a ring and im going to pop down when i get some spare time so they can have a look and tell me what it is ive got! and ill take the details of your tank so they can tell me if they are able to fit it
they were very friendly and helpful so im pretty optomistic about this
