only had betty (hijet)cpl of months but love it, had a hyundia coupe 2.0 b4 but got to exspensive to run the hijets been great already been for a camping weekend in her and now got the cooker fitted and a cpl of benches down the side for seats come storage.
only problem so far has been the leaky petrol tank sorted soon i hope all other things have been little things that the last owner neglected like side door handles, bulbs and number plate, all major things seem to have been done in the last year or two including head skim and gasket.

post pics as i can when i learn how lol.
great advice and a great bunch on here already had a lot of help thank you all

"Head skim & gasket"
You have a issue you will need to keep a constant eye on there. A well known one with hijets btw...
Keep a close eye on water levels & temperature gauge

Check with your local dealer as there was a Petrol tank recall. If they say there isn't one email Daihatsu direct and ask - DealerRelations@imgroup.co.uk
