Non running

HI
Can anyone give me any ideas. I parked my 1300 Hijet up for about an hour and when I came back to it it would not start not even any attempt to start, engine turns over fine and there is fuel in it. I will be having a look at it at weekend and was hoping that someone may have any ideas if there is a common complaint like this.

Does the engine warning light come on when you turn the key?

If you get no light, the little wires to the battery live terminal have broken....

Further investigation shows that the warning light does come on when you turn the key. but the fuel pump does not work unless you give the tank a hit which un sticks the fuel pump, so I need a new pump any ideas where is the best place to get one.

I think they are a standard pump, look like a silver tube can thing . You take the top off the tank, and pull it out and its just bolted to a bracket.

Loads of cars use the same pump type so I would have though any motor factors would sort you out.
