Engine Recon!

Any 1 no someone that recons engines decided to keep mine as the 1.4d is like rocking horse s@#t to find !
the lumps been removed and empty of all fluids .. just need someone to do a overall on her ie.. all new gaskets,seals, camshaft grinding, shells ect.. may as well may also find why shes knocking too..
also anyone any tips on modding engine for a little bit of poke ? rebore/head skimming/ jets ect.. as ive found ppl slating 1.2d and 1.4d being a little shite on power ! may as go the all hog while shes out
