Drum brakes sealants? Empty Drum brakes sealants?

When putting the drum brakes back together in the manual it says to use

three bond 1212 silicone sealant for the rear axle shaft seat

liquid sealant three bond 520 sealing compound to seal a couple of other bits

What do people use instead, can you just use normal sanitory silicone OK or a non solvent silicone

Thank you

Normal bathroom silicon don't live with oil/petrol/derv very well. They dissolve and go mushy.

You can get instant gasket silicone stuff at halfrauds etc.
