thanks guys,currently removing some rust..taking pic soon,both side rear lips almost done sanding..yeah,most of this version of hijet here did ended up like that too..mine and i still see a few did survived around..i have older version hijet sitting(550cc ones)those should be sent to museum i think..hehe

I was talking to a chap today about my left door mirror that's still held on by a silent prayer and he said to fix it tight with fibre glass. He used to work for Daihatsu so reckon I'll give it a go.

I say paint the bits you'll see, then carpet/etc the rest. It's the easy way out!

Many of us follow silently, sorry for not acknowledging it before. I am full of admiration for the work you're doing, and may need to do the same to mine in a few years so am taking notes. Personally, I'd paint it all first - you're there with the spray gun anyway - for protectection against the dreaded R. After, you can trim as you wish.

tq guys,btw..im kind of in budget for repainting,for the interior im thinking about clean those surface and anti-rust them then coat with carpeting/pvc leather(depends which more reliable)..im planning all the work to be done below 385$(usd)..thats a tight budget
