Re: my hijet project.
You can get the eyes reversed on the leaf springs at a decent spring place. Theres one North of Birmingham. or you can do it the bodge way and build a jig like this -

You can't lower the rear that much without clearance problems with the chassis/axle.
The fronts I got shortened by a local guy who does old ford stuff...TBH I wouldn't recommend him as I wasn't that happy with the workmanship and both are leaking within a year.
I'm just looking into adapting a certain set of coilovers at the moment...i'll post up details when I know if it'll work.

I was under the van the other day and was thinking about the lowering problem and was wondering if you could jack the back up by way of altering the spring hangers then flipping the axle over the top to bring it up to lower the ride height.

Ive just read this thread, your van looks great lowered! How does it ride on the shortened shocks? I haven't really looked underneath my pickup yet as i only got it on sunday but im hoping to flip the rear axle and have been looking for a solution for the front.

Hi Ash
Not sure if you're still around as the thread's not been updated for a few months but wanted to say I like what you've done with the van.
Lows and JDM arches will be on my agenda when I get my hands on a van.
