It's the doing of the missus she decides I do as I'm told the pile of old Ford stuff on the floor is mine.

It was an auto jumble show so she needed me so she could get in under the radar as the craft show won't let her in as she supplies the stuff to make the handmade only which is allowed in
Old ford stuff (made in Dagenham, Essex) will last for years unlike poxy jap crap that melts when it meets the UK weather
Re: Hey whats in yer van today?
Looks like a very well sorted stand. I bet you're the one who can pack it all away so it fits in the van!

Remember when I was paying £20 for them and bombing around fields. If i'd have known how much they fetch now I would have stocked up!!

Along with Mini's, all 2 stroke 125 bikes, rs turbos and XR2's
My dad says the same thing about old Triumphs, they were 10 a penny back in the 70's, now you pay thousands for a box of bike like bits.

Careful what you say.
2 stroke triples are notorious for melting their middle piston, due to overheating.

Re: Hey whats in yer van today?
I had my bike in the back of mine at the weekend but forgot to take a pic. My bike is smaller and doesn't take petrol, oh no. It's all pedal power for me!! Last ride was Cambridge to Norwich via some of the teeniest back roads I've ever seen. I didn't stop and covered the 80 miles in 4 hours 45 minutes. Killer Raised funds for the Norwich and Norfolk Hospital so time well spent.

Re: Hey whats in yer van today?
I was talking to lovely posh lady in her 60's/70's earlier about road bikers, strange hey - but I said I call them mamil's = Middle aged men in Lycra - and she chuckled and said "I have a slightly less polite name for them" - "Raised man holes"

My thighs can crush boulders
As for MAMILs - I can't stand them. In fact, that may well be the last organised bike ride I do because too many of those sods are just the most unbearable creatures on this earth. They are total road hogs, completely unaware of what's going on around them, selfish and deserve to be knocked off and sold as cat food. As for my true feelings about those to$$ers, I'll keep that to myself
