bull bar post 98

Loooking for a bull bar for a post 98 hijet, seen a few on vehicles sold on ebay over the last couple of months but not found a supplier

Think most are either adapted from old rascals and super carries, or they are a welder and pipe bender job.

I had a look at a few a couple of years back mostly found through ebay and they varied dramatically in finish and build quality.

Some were just a glorified spot light rack, where some where poorly welded badly hammer righted poo, where one was pretty nice but the mounts had been altered so I think it must have come off a rascal etc - that one was nicely powder coated too.

I decided i'd just make one, but never got round to it. Bet it'd cost you an afternoon, a borrow of a pipe bender, a few grinder disks, a hole saw, and £40 worth of steel/welding supplies/paint etc.

I've been looking for one too, quite like the look oof the one on this pickup on Ebay just now. If my leg doesn't get better soon i may make a stainless one up similar

Think i might talk to a manufacture if there is a demand, and subject to price it might be worth while

There's probably a huge demand of about 6 - over4 years - and typical of hijet owners they want them for no more than £50

Im dropping my 99 pick up at powerflow for him to make a stainless de cat pipe for me, I will ask them, might be over 50 quid though, Im looking into fiberglass pick up side skirts too, picking a set up Sunday and will drop them off at a pattern makers but they will be over 50 ukp

Not fancy getting them to do a full system for her? Maybe a cheeky side exit affair just before the back wheel

Might as well while they are at it, barely worth getting the TIG out for the decat good excuse that or what!

he quoted me 40 ( i think) but that does away with one box, if I remove the back too I don't think people would here my reversing bleeper, I have took the flatbed off fo ease so he has plenty of room to play, I will just ask him to come up with something but the flatbed has to go back on so no STACK , i like the side idea
